umbrella skirt!!

Back in... um... a long time ago, I saw instructions in my favourite magazine, ReadyMade, to make a skirt out of old umbrellas. I got some old umbrellas, separated the panels, got some thread and a zipper, and then stuffed it all into a drawer for godknowshowlong. After a while I took it out, did some more work on it, then put it away. Over the following months/years I went through the same cycle about five times. Now, thanks to being forced to stay home recovering from gum graft surgery, it's almost done! I'm really excited.

INactive

There you go. Something to look at. My tiny construction site toys at work.

I'm writing this post just so that I have something to show for the year 2009. Why do I feel guilty? I created this blog for travel purposes only. Nobody has complained. I haven't received any threatening e-mails from the Powers that Be at Blogger.

Hmph. That's enough of that. Time to make imperceptible headway on another ever-ongoing project.

great waterfront trail

Day one: Kingston to Johnstown
9:20 a.m. Only 16 km down. About a hundred to go.

12:16 p.m.

2:46 p.m. Brockville. 83 km. That's enough.
End of day one for me.

Day two: Johnstown to Cornwall
8:50 a.m. Super stoked.

9:24 a.m. I love the waterfront. Gorgeous!!

10:58 a.m. The inevitable takes place.
And thus concludes the Great Waterfront Trail Adventure for Eva "Falldownalot" Dawson.
